Year 3 Tuition

TFS provides tuition in the two core subjects of Maths and English. These are covered through the following topics:

ENGLISH

Your child will learn the fundamental aspects of English grammar performing exercises to enhance their grasp of nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, sentence structure, spelling, punctuation and pronunciation.

MATHS

Your child will be introduced to elementary mathematical concepts such as:

• Addition, Subtraction, Simple division and Multiplication

• Odd and Even Numbers

• Basic fractions
• Using 2D and 3D shapes
• Metric measurements
• Solving basic problems
• Early use of graphs and grids co-ordinates
