Assessment

Prior to joining, your child will undergo a short assessment which will help to gauge the level of tuition required and identify key development areas in your child's education. The assessment should last approximately 30 minutes and depending on your child's age will cover: English, Mathematics, Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning.

Regular Feedback and Reports

In order to maintain your child's ongoing development and progress, we will provide you with regular feedback as well as end of term reports. In addition, homework is marked and reviewed every lesson and the quantity set increases as we approach the exam period.

Lessons

Lessons are formatted to ensure pupils are taught the relevant study material, and subsequently complete test papers to guarantee their academic development.

At the end of the lesson, homework will be set to reiterate the topics learnt in class. This should take about 30 minutes per day and can be done in stages during the week.

As we approach the end of the year, we begin to focus on exam technique, ensuring your child develops time management and revision skills as well as providing practice papers, which are critical to exam success.

Our teaching methods have been designed to stimulate and stretch your child, allowing them to grow at their own pace.
